Somewhere here I think I reviewed Generous Orthodoxy when it first came out. I kind of sympathized with what I thoguht he was doing, but in the end I don't think he pulled it off.
I'm not as much impressed by Mclaren as I am by John Franke, whom I heard last year. I thought Franke was a much deeper thinker, & really made a case. Which is why, even though the poster puts Brian first, I put John's name first in the post title.
