really cool. Here is a Canadian Press article, which quotes Chris Herd, associate professor of Earth and Atmospheric sciences at the University of Alberta. (ps - I met Chris when I worked at the U of A; he is a great guy and an Anglican, so I have a bias in which news articles I'm linking to)
It was incredible. Sudden. Massive and moving impossibly fast. I saw it driving home along 106 ave. here in Edmonton and I was certain the entire Fulton Place neighbourhood was about to be toasted. I now have a whole new understanding of what "awestruck" feels like and what all those "suddenly there appeared" things in the scriptures were like. Wow.

What I saw from Regina was far less dramatic. I actually thought it was a small meteorite that had fallen - get this - within a mile or two of where I was driving.
