On Sunday, the community of Stanley Mission, pop. 741, presented fifty-one candidates for their annual Confirmation service. The congregation took motor boats to get to the church, including elders with their walkers. Nets had been put out in the Churchill River to catch fresh fish for the outdoor feast following the service.

I found this just after it was posted and I have to tell you, it totally made my Pentecost Sunday week. Clicking on the photo's in the album to make them big and just sitting still and viewing each one is such a powerful experience. This is the Gospel lived out in everyday life. An incredibly moving picture testimonial to the gentle sweet power of the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah Amen and Thanks be to God.
