Singing is a manly thing to do, if you can carry a tune. No sane choir director would want me (just to pick a random example) in the choir.

Ian - I think we need a baritone or two. But we are blessed to have some very good male singers in the choir! Scott - my wife likes to think of those, like herself, who will only sing when the angels accompany (i.e. in heaven, when the stain of the fall no longer affects the vocal chords).
But I think what we really need is a more manly music in the church. Bards, take up your song!
