I consider cleaning up numerous toys in the living room to be an offense against the commandment regarding the Sabbath, so I'm leaving that for tomorrow. In the meantime I have a slew of books to review. I've given McLaren's Secret Message of Jesus thingy a once through already this week, and will read it again this evening.
A preliminary thought and then a question from my first read: it's about the kingdom being present; so where does the Holy Spirit come in? Review tomorrow sometime.
And another thing - just reiterating from our convesation at sol cafe last week; the minor prophets have a lot to say about something called justice. We will be having a look at them in the near future.
