Tyler has some great advice over at Codex for those of you who are interested in getting some Hebrew body art. There may not be much of market for this sort of thing, but if you are gonna do it, do it right.
Note well his advice that the script for "love" can also mean "leather" (cf Hosea 11:4; Song 3:10).
By the way, for those who aren't in the know, he also has stuff of a more elevated academic standard.
Hi, I'm interested in the following;
"Not even God can judge me."
Thanks,
Jack

Just for the record, is Victoria Beckham's tattoo vertical (letters on top of each other) or sideways (letters next to each other)?
Anyways, I am looking for a tattoo from the same book, different verse "Love burns like a blazing fire, like a might flame. Many waters cannot quench love, rivers cannot wash it away." in Hebrew, any help would be appreciated! :)

I believe Ms Beckham's was vertical, which works much better if you figure your body will sag over time...

I would like to get the "I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine" tattooed. I would like to ensure the spelling is correct as well as the authenticity of ancient and Biblical Hebrew. Can you please help me? I am unsure yet whether I will have the tattoo vertical or horizontal... so if at all possible, can you please send me both? It's greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi Joseph,
As if you were not already tired of the clusters of requests for Song of Solomon 6:3..... Here is another! I had my heart set on it for the engraving inside my fiance's wedding ring and as I keep finding inaccurate translations, it would be sweet to have one that is not mistranslated, written, etc. Again, I am looking for the sweet and cliche first half, I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine. Thanks!

Hi, I, like the other millions of people who have posted here, am looking for a horizontal translation of the verse, "I am my beloved's my beloved is mine" where the "beloved" is male, and "I am my beloved's and my beloved's is mine" where the "beloved" is female. I realize that this site is a few years old, but if anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks.

'I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine'.
אני לדודי ודודי לי
RAM
if i understood right you are asking simply for the letters that represent these consonants in hebrew: ראמ if these are initialls i recommand putting dots between the letters. if that is a word or a name the last letter changes:ראם

HOW TO GET A PROPER TATTOO?
Well, the Bible commanded the Israelites, “Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the LORD” (Leviticus 19:28).
If you are Jewish - there is no proper way to tattoo, it is sacrilegious. It defaces the natural beauty that you were fashioned in 'his image'.
Most Jewish cemeteries will not bury a Jew with tattoos. They have to find a resting place outside of the Jewish cemetery(some exceptions).
I am not here to judge your choices, but at least be educated and then decide.

Hi,
I'm new here so I ain't sure if requesting for a Hebrew Translation (written vertically) for,
"You are My Provider, My Refuge and My Healer." is for free.
Nevertheless, it doesn't hurt to try.
Thanks so much,
Diane
