“The obligations that Afghanistan has taken on, insofar as international human rights instruments are concerned, reflect what should be considered universal values now: freedom of religion, the right to association, freedom of speech—those aren’t culturally specific anymore, if they ever were,”
Canadian Ambassador to Afghanistan David Sproule , speaking at the University of Alberta
Canada's Ambassador uses desirable human rights as a excuse for invading, killing, and occupying another country to enforce his beliefs. Then he talks about freedom of Religion and freedom of Speech. He believes in freedom only if it agrees with his desires. God teaches by example. If you wish to change another's belief then do it by example not by killing. Killing to control another creates a problems that never go away. God's Intelligent design punishes those who carry out these acts forever unless that nation changes and works for redemption.

You might recall that Canada had involvement long before the current ambassador was in his post.
