Just a bit of my grizzled face after some time in the mountains.
Somewhere just below Mumm Peak in Robson Park. Berg Lake in the background; you can catch a bit of the Berg glacier down and to the right. On sunny days you can hear the thunder as it calves huge chunks into the lake.
On another note, one of the bridges on the lower trail had been washed out due to a flash flood. With a bit of footwork and fording techniques, we got across. Nothing wakes you up in the morning quite like a crossing at a glacier-fed river in the Canadian Rockies. It's all part of that great Canadian lie: "the water is warm once you're in & get used to it."
and I bet it was a "dry cold" crossing the river
