What is the shelf life of a church? Why do churches close? I don't know the story behind this former Anglican parish , but it raises a few questions for me.

Musa's version will be used for the blog series. It's good, readable, and has helpful notes for those who are new to Dante. (*****)

St Luke's Saskatoon was a low-church BCP parish. Their practice was Morning Prayer as the norm with a montly Eucharist.
They were in the midst of an aging neighbourhood and were not really connected to their neighbours. A half-time minister had been supported for the past few years. There are many aspects to the story but it suffices to say that while the church is not called to conform to the culture she is called to at least acknowledge and adapt to it.
