There will likely be a Paucity of Posts, due to a Plethora of Pain.
My only friend right now is Sinutab. I believe that while I was sleeping a few days ago, someone took several of those CO2 charged life vests from aircraft, placed them in my head, and released them all at once. So under the influence of medication, let me put forth the following remarks:
1] The preamble to the Charter of Rights mentions the foundational principles of "the supremacy of God and the rule of law." How does the relationship between these two work itself out? Does neglecting the supremacy of God necessarily lead to the rule of law becoming corrupt?
2] Lech Walesa, head of the Solidarity movement in Poland in the 80's, stated that the recently departed Pope was "50% responsible for the fall of communism."
3] Are more people into complaining about what is wrong with church than going about improving it? Do a quick percentage check of the gospels - Compare how much time and energy Jesus spent complaining compared to how much he spent improving things.
4] Never, never try to rub your eyes after preparing something with crushed chillis. On the other hand, it works great if you are in a spot where you need to feign an emotional response to something.
5] We need to look at each situation and ask the question: How can I bring Christ's mercy into this?
Goodnight. If the medication does not work to allow me to get some sleep, I'm headin' for "daddy's cupboard" - the one above the stove, over on the left.
What's in the cupboard on the right?

Hey Joe, I thought you were saving the contents of Daddy's Cupboard for our next campfire honouring Cranmer, REMEMBER. Seriously, I pray that the pain in your cranium goes away. Having said that, your thoughts under the influence of Sinutab are cause for laughter. Ever think of heading to Montreal, I am sure that a comedian Rector would go over big. Great post by the way about the influence of one man, I just celebrated the same man on my blog too! Get some rest.
