At the end of the vote, what Edmonton did
It's about 4:45 at the end of a long day. The motion to allow same sex blessings was defeated.
In our group there are different perspectives and people voted differently. And so I asked all of our delegates to simply hold hands as a table, and pray together
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit,
be with us all, evermore, Amen.
There were tears in every eye. I voted against the motion, but if my heart does not break for those who weep, then I am no follower of Christ.

Following Pete's Essentials blog gave me just a small insight into what went on at General Synod. I can only imagine what it must've been like to be there. I commend you all for your dedication and calling. God's peace be with you, and safe journey home.
