1. I am still pondering the effects of 2 dimensional pop culture (print media, television) on our perception of 3 dimensional visual art (eg sculpture). Has 2 dimensional imagery become the standard, so that the art of sculpture can no longer be seen? Go visit Rob's site.
2. The wise men get close to Jesus through natural means, but as recorded by the Gospel writer, they needed revelation in order to precisely locate Him. Their observation of the star got them as far as Jerusalem, where they had to ask for more specific directions - provided to them out of Scripture. Is this a model? Can you actually only get to Jesus by way of revelation/Scripture?
